Baba helps us catch a flight (Sumi’s story)

I would like to share my experience when I went to Shirdi.....

Though I have been Baba's devotee for a long time now, I had never visited Shirdi. 

My husband surprised me by asking me if I want to visit Shirdi. I was overjoyed and readily agreed. 

My Shirdi visit was extremely fulfilling. As we were leaving Pune, my aunt asked us to visit Shani Shinganapur. But we lost our way as the driver was not familiar with the route. As we were getting late for our flight, I asked the driver to skip the visit to the temple and go to the airport.

Since we were flying to Bangalore, we had to reach the airport one hour prior to the departure. We were extremely tensed and I thought I would miss the flight. I was worried about my Mom who was in Bangalore. My mom was an ailing heart patient. My sister had offered to take care of her until I returned from my visit to Shirdi.

With great difficulty, we reached the airport. The airport authorities told us that the doors of the flight were closed, the engines were whirring and the flight was ready to take off.

I requested them to let us board the flight. I explained the importance of my going to Bangalore, due to my mother's health condition.

A ground staff member was sympathetic to me and said that she would talk to her supervisor.

With Baba's blessings, the information was passed to the pilot. After five minutes, they stopped the engine and opened the doors of the flight . 

Gratefully, we boarded. 

Many people told us that it was very rare that they let us in after they shut the door.  

Only we knew that it was Baba who came in the form of the ground staff  to help us in this difficult situation and help us reach our destination on time.
