Volunteering at Baba temple turned my life around (Vimala)

OM SAI RAM

I am eternally grateful to my Guru Shirdi Sai Baba for showering His compassion on me. Thanking Him or doing Seva to Him for a lifetime would not do enough to express my gratitude to Baba. I would like to offer my prayers to you, Shirdi Saibaba. Please forgive me if there are any mistakes.

My mother was introduced to Baba through a friend. My family’s financial situation had taken a turn for the worse. Despite this situation, we visited Sri Naga Sai temple in Coimbatore, every Saturday, where we received lots of love, energy, strength and help from Baba to overcome our troubles. By His Grace, and with my older brother's help, I completed my Masters degree and found a job in the US in 2010.

After moving to the US, I was unaware of a Sai temple near me. It was a stressful time when I was completely overcome with fear and anxiety both at work and with my family. Everything looked grey and colorless in my life. At work I learnt from my coworkers about  Shirdi Sai Parivaar in Milpitas. They used to attend the Madhyaan Arati during lunch hour. My first visit to Sai Parivaar was in 2015. I  remember feeling such positive vibes and motherly love from Baba.  It felt like home and I felt like staying there forever! From then on, I regularly attended the Madhyaan Arati on Thursdays and started volunteering as a backup volunteer during weekends. I witnessed the love and devotion of the volunteers during Madhyaan Arati and thought they must be blessed to do Arati seva for Baba on Thursdays. Miraculously, the very next week, I received an email about a regular volunteer slot opening for Thursday Madhyaan Arati! My joy knew no bounds! I was so grateful to Baba for listening to my innermost wishes and granting me His lovely gift!

I continued doing Seva with full devotion and my life took a positive turn in both work & family environments. In October 2017, during Thursday Madhyaan Arati seva, a fellow volunteer handed me the "Sai Satcharita". When I started reading it, I felt so blissful and overwhelmed with happiness that I could not stop reading it. I felt the presence of my Guru both inside me and all around. By Baba's Grace, I travelled to Shirdi for the first time and had His darshan during Kakad Arati in March 2018. When I returned, I felt a strong desire to perform Kakad seva in Sai Parivaar. As before I got the opportunity to do Seva with a truly awesome team on Fridays.

With His countless miracles in my life, my wholehearted faith and belief in Shirdi SaiBaba has strengthened multifold. Having surrendered at Baba's holy feet, I see myself surrounded by good souls, lots of positive energy, happiness and peace in my life. In my personal experience, even if your faith in Baba begins as small thread, eventually it gets strengthened to an unbreakable bond. Baba makes things happen and He most definitely takes care of everyone who surrenders to Him.

Shirdi Sai Baba's compassion knows no bounds!

OM SAI RAM

With much Gratitude,

Vimala
