Found my Baba again (Naveen Goswami)

As a child I used to visit a friend’s house. They had Sathya Sai Baba’s picture in their home. There were buckets of Vibhuthi emerging from that picture and people used to visit in order to collect it. We used to go there sometimes and pray. But after I grew up, I became disconnected from Baba for many years.

After a gap of 20 years I found Baba again. I moved to San Francisco and my brother-in-law told me to visit a house locally because they have Shirdi Sai Baba’s temple there. I was not very keen and did not act on that suggestion at that time. Later I was facing some personal problems and again various people suggested that I visit Baba. So I went there and found a very powerful energy in that home. 

We had a small shrine at home. And I wanted to include Baba’s picture. When I visited the store they only had Sathya Sai Baba’s picture. So, my sister sent me Shirdi Sai Baba’s picture from India. 

 My wife had some reservations about including Baba’s picture in our home shrine because she is a devotee of Lord Shiva. But slowly she also developed her faith in Baba. 

Now after listening to Baba’s bhajans, and reading his stories, we understand that both Sathya Sai Baba and Shirdi Sai Baba are one and the same.

One day a fly was in our home. I told my wife that the fly must be hungry. He has come looking for food. So I got some crumbs of food and kept it on the counter for the fly to eat. I felt as if Baba came to my home for Bhiksha and ate.
